The March before last, we returned to Antarctica (Nancy’s favorite continent) with Cheesemans’ Ecology Safaris. Nancy broke her ribs in 26-foot seas in the Drake Passage the second day out but still managed to make all the shore excursions. Her technical support staff hasn’t yet processed the pictures from that trip, but we have some suggestions for those who might find themselves putting around in the vicinity of whales.
