This will be our sixth time at the Central Park Art Festival in seven yearsprevious (we were in Antarctica in 2016 instead), sponsored by the Victor Smith Law Group and put on by the Ridge Art Association. They are expecting up to 25,000 guests this year to more than 90 artists. There will also be a children’s hands-on tent, student art exhibit, live entertainment, and an international food court. It doesn’t look like they’ve gotten the festival visitor website up and going, but it should soon be reachable from the Ridge Art Association website menu. Stay tuned.
This will be our fourth participation in this event in five years (interrupted only by our trip to Antarctica last year). Run, as always, by the Ridge Art Association, this year’s sponsor is the Victor Smith Law Group. The festival is free to the public. On Saturday, the hours are 10 am to 5 pm and it will be open 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday. This year they are expecting around 19 thousand visitors to over 90 exhibitors. Again, there is not much more information on the festival website (Disregard their festival count – the sponsors are lawyers, not accountants.)
