We were at last year’s inaugural event, and although new festivals are risky for artists, we were very happy. Was it beginner’s luck or do the promoters, the Greater Tamarac Chamber of Commerce and the City of Tamarac know what they’re doing? Come to the festival, north of the Tamarac Community Center, between 10 am and 4 pm, Saturday (April Fools’ Day) or Sunday, April 2, 2017 and find out with us. They are expecting three thousand visitors and will have more exhibitors than last year. There will also be live entertainment, a children’s area, a robotics exhibition, and more (meaning food). There is more information on their webpage.
The forty-year-old Greater Tamarac Chamber of Commerce is holding their first art festival along NW 57th Street east of Pine Island Road one block north of Commercial Boulevard. It will be from 10 am to 5 pm both Saturday & Sunday, and is free to the public. They are expecting 40 artists and craftsmen. Although you can get some information on their webpage, they are really active on their . Maybe we’ll see you there.
