Isle Of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival Coming In May

This will be our seventh time at this art festival in Fernandina Beach in eight art festival seasons. As I’ve mentioned beforeprevious, Amelia Island goes all out for this festival with parades, pageants, fireworks, etc. They are expecting around 135 thousand visitors this year. Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival Will Be Weekend Of May 6th

We have again been accepted into this art festival. This will be our 5th year participating. It is still one of our favorite festivals. It is in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, and the art festival will be open and free to the public from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday, May 6, 2017 and 10 to 5 on Sunday. The parade is Thursday, May 4th. The festival will be held in the Historic business district (along Centre Street and about a block on all side streets as far east as 8th Street).  We will be in Booth 403 on the south side of Centre Street.  They expect about 120,000 visitors to see around 320 artists.

We will be in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island this weekend.  This is our second time at this festival and it is definitely one of our favorites.  The Fine Arts & Crafts Show is open to the public on Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm, and on Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.  We will be in Booth 621.  Other activities started with the Shrimp Festival Pirate Parade on April 27th.  For a schedule of events, go to www.shrimpfestival.com.
